Any country that is a signatory to the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (HCCH 1961 Apostille Convention) will accept documents with an Apostille. This includes most major countries in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

In some cases, yes. Certain documents must be originals or certified copies to be apostilled. There are lots of options available for verifying documents, obtaining replacements and some institutions will allow you to have duplicates sent directly to us.
