What is a Summary Statement?

A Summary Statement (previously known as a Certificate of Good Standing) is a document issued by Companies House which states that the company is incorporated in the UK, with various optional extra pieces of information, and that the company is in "good standing", i.e. there are no outstanding, time-sensitive documents required to be provided to Companies House.

Who can get a Summary Statement?

You need an account with Companies House, nothing to do with having anything registered yourself there, just a log in. When you are on the correct company's page, click on the "More" tab and you will be able to order a Summary Statement.​
